The best approach and the best speech ever by a European politician on migration

This is a truly impressive speech by the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, that gets to the heart of the European migration situation. With Merkel listening in, Orban honestly and correctly says that it is Europe’s moral responsibility and objective is to help ‘refugees’ lead a dignified and secure life in their own countries rather than allowed to become European citizens.

Free choice of a host country is not included under European law. The refugees are victims of bad government, bad political decisions and bad European decisions that raises expectations and supports human traffickers. The German, French and Hungarian life is not compatible with Islam. A debate is needed about European civilisation’s heritage that has been worked for and fought over so hard.

The European Left dictates the migration agenda and supports migration. They consider protection of borders nationalistic and bureaucratic, wanting to discard the real values of European society. European Christian Democrats need to fight back, and people should not be attacked for trying to do so. The Leftists should not be allowed to take away Europe from the people.

In a Euronews report on Hungary, there is reference to Hungary’s ‘far-right movement’ when in fact they are nationalists. Hungarians commemorate Republic Day on every October 23 to mark the 1956 uprising against the Soviet-ruled communist regime. And this year, Orbán took to the stage to lash out – quite correctly in my view – against globalisation and a “migrant invasion”.

The Euronews reporter also meets Balázs László, “who is waging another kind of fight in Hungary. The 22-year-old is the co-founder of the new radical right-wing movement Force and Determination, which hopes to run in next year’s parliamentary elections”. As he says:

According to statistics, in 50 or 60 years’ time, our continent’s population could be replaced, from an ethnical point of view. It’s estimated that around 30 million, and even up to 70 million Middle Eastern Muslims are already living here in Europe. There are about 10 to 12 million people from the Eastern European gypsy community, not to mention the number of African immigrants. In the next 10 years, up to one billion people could leave Africa. Our population is dropping all the time, while the number of people who are coming here, or those who are already living here, is growing continuously. And if we don’t see this, then we can be sure that white people will disappear.

There is also an interview with the mayor of Ássothalom, László Toroczkai, who produced a controversial YouTube video in 2015 in a bid to curb migration. It has nearly two million views. As he quite rightly says in the interview, “We want to preserve our traditions. I respect Islam, but it’s impossible in my country because Islam is not compatible with Hungarian traditions. This is a Hungarian town, this is a Roman Catholic town. We can accept those people who respect this fact. A Hungarian, Catholic, European town.” He is also known for wanting to ban traditional Muslim dress and the call to prayer.
