This is the very best news I have heard for a long time on the illegal immigration issue. At last Italy has come to its senses and it getting serious about its migrant problem. If the EU kicks up a fuss, it will always get the support of the Visegrad 4 + Austria. Also, it seems like Denmark is also getting tougher on the Islamisation of Europe issue with its newly passed burka ban.
Viktor Orban has scored a sweeping victory in Hungary’s general election winning 133 parliamentary seats of 199 with around 93% of votes counted, according to the country’s national election office.
The resounding two-thirds victory granted Orban’s Fidesz and their coalition partners the “supermajority” they needed to make constitutional changes.
The 54-year-old is a strong Eurosceptic and took an anti-immigration stance in his campaign.
Voting is over in Hungary, where the prime minister, Viktor Orbán, is seeking to win a third consecutive term.
After running a campaign almost exclusively focused on the threat posed by migration, Orbán’s Fidesz party is expected to win a majority in parliament. However, a late push for coordination among the opposition, as well a string of corruption scandals around the government has given Orbán’s foes a glimmer of hope.
